- New critiques of arguments made by our contributors or other commenters. If possible, please avoid repeating points already made
- Suggestions for new or better arguments
- New data or links to content that support or contradict points made
We request that any comments be respectful, constructive and made in good faith. Please provide explanations of points made and, if applicable, evidence including links to sources or supporting data. Try to avoid using logical fallacies. Avoid citing obviously unreliable or biased sources or including memes or irrelevant graphics.
Any comments including any of the following will be removed:
- Foul or sexually explicit language (except where reporting statements made by another party which are relevant to the topic at hand)
- Illegal content (e.g. libel, copyright infringements)
- Personal attacks directed at our team or any other users or commenters on the site
- Graphical violence
- Threats/advocating of violence or other criminal acts
- Low effort comments that do not make any useful contribution to the discussion (e.g. “Haha”, “lol”)
- Spam comments that do not relate to the post where the comment was made, including promotional content
We also reserve the right to remove any comments for any reason including if, in our sole view, any comments undermine the overall goal of this site.
